Semitronix has released its Wafer Level Reliability (WLR) testers. The equipment supports parallel testing and greatly reduces the time for WLR tests. Customers can use this equipment with other software systems provided by Semitronix to improve work efficiency.

By releasing the WLR tester, Semitronix has further expanded its product portfolio. The testing equipment serves as a new engine for the company’s growth and marks a breakthrough in the WLR field.
The emerging of large data centers and new energy vehicle (NEVs) requires higher reliability and better performance for chips. Chips that are designed for these applications may be used in environments with different temperatures and humidity and experience electromagnetic interference (EMI) during the entire life cycle. WLR testing involves simulating extreme conditions under which chips may be used. It aims to check whether chip devices can function properly under specific conditions after undergoing accelerated testing for a specific time period.
